Shot Brian Haw yesterday again and also today as the sun is shining…… Bobby S. and I built “Mother” last weekend but I have to wait for a KVM switch b4 I can have both pc’s linked to my new flatscreen monitor (what a joy a 19″ is….). This should be sorted by tomorrow and then finally I can start building it software wise…..
i will start posting pix on the website soon…..prolly during easter……
Right……. yesterday went to Rochester in Kent and photographed one of the tutors wearing a cross, it was for a student project where they had to create a magazine spread, my pix will be later sandwiched with products.
I shot in one of their studios, and I was amazed how much kit they had available…..camera’s (a dozen RZ67’s) tons of flash and quartz 650 tungsten heads (they had 5 and I used all of them). Quite an enjoyable day, at the end I had a pentagram projected on his chest, will add a pic later on.
Besides that it is off to Westminster again today and hook up with Joe Barnet and get some more shots, the weather looks good (sunny) so this may give a whole new feel/look to all of this, as the previous shoots were very cold/grey.
Scanning….well I realise this pc is not up to do the work, as I have had quite a few crashes and therefor losing the scans, I have had to redo quite a few. I also realised I have lost/misplaced a lot of my Heavy Metal archive, I miss tons of stuff. They are supposed to be at my parent’s house, but where????????????????
Bobby Samelak is coming ’round tomorrow to help me assemble “MOTHER” the new pc and 19″ lcd flatscreen, can’t wait, this should also help with scanning a lot, looking forward to this
I will add a shedload of pix to the site soon, basically i am waiting as I need one or two things sorted before I add all of them.
I found some real nice old stuff of Metallica, Y&T and above all Mercyful Fate, and started to scan them.
Shot Brian Haw for about two hrs during the demo outside parliament and came back with some good stuff. all in all I shot 350 digital shots last Friday and yesterday together and then another 4 rolls of film, Joe should have plenty to play with. Coming Friday we are shooting there again and prolly rig an interview…….
Scanning Queensryche (1984), Slayer (1985), Ice T (2000) and a few others…….soon I will start putting this stuff up.
I have been scanning since half 6 (did some Slayer, Queen Adreena, Metallica, Ice-T and Elastica) and shall be leaving this afternoon (could use some fresh air actually) to cover the demo on Parliament Square as the Bill gets its Second Reading in the House of Lords.
The bill in question is the anti terrorism bill, which could restrict protest in a radius of 1km arround parliament severely. I am going there to photograph Brian Haw. I have shot him last Friday for about 2 hours and also shot him 3 weeks before that. Joe Barnet (filmmaker) and I are making a short movie.
For more info on Brian plz go here:

Never been to a demo before, which got me a few raised eyebrows from Ben Bruges (filmmaker I cooperated with on Affective Disorder).
Will post some shots soon.

Added a few shots of a shoot with Lizzy Bowden
Well I decided to start a new website, simply coz I bought myself a filmscanner and have started to scan my archive, which is 21 years of photos. I will start adding them bit by bit, a carefull estimate of making 50 scans a day will result in at least 50 days of scanning, propably more……
Sofar i have scanned some fashion and beauty shoots and have also started on my metal archive. which dates back to 1981.
