Besides unpacking I have not done much else, unreal how much stuff one accumulates over the years…..and yesterday I just walked down the stairs and ripped the carpet off and spent all day walking up and down the shops getting expert advice on how to remove the remains of the glue…, off course none of the advice was right, me girlie was tho, take it from me, use paint stripper and not a glue solvent and this looks what I am doing for this morning and tomorrow.
This afternoon I have two meetings (one is for a job for shoo mag. next week) and will take some shots of Brian Haw as well, it has been way too bloody long…..
I saw The Business last night, it is alright, getting a tad tired of the British gangster flick tho….seems like the genre has been milked for what it’s worth….a new angle is needed for sure. Sexy Beast is a whole lot better than this one for sure.
A pic of yers truly.
With Loetta in Stresa, Italy 1992 (I think). I will try and dig out some old stuff….
Just managed to get back online…..
Saturday was quite an event, got up at half 5 and started packing the final bits up…..by half 8 Jo and Bob had arrived with the truck and Robbo arrive about half an hr later. I cooked everyone a nice breakfast and then we went for it…. It took a tad longer than thought originally and we left at arround half 1, we almost had on accident on the A127 but luckily escaped….
By 7 pm we were all moved in, as Chips and Matt decided to join us and lend us a hand, thanks to all involved!!!!
By about half 11 I am asleep on the sofa and the alarm goes off…..for no apparent reason…..the noise being produced is very uncomfortable…..I call the ADT center and they hang up on me, simply as the paperwork has not been processed yet……I deal with you l4m3rz later, you can count on that!
Besides that….boxes, bags and whatnot all over the place….it will take some time to get it all sorted but it will be worth it.
The-b3nch has ended and I do not not know the exact end total (245 I think). I also shot some flowers in our new garden (what’s left of it to blossom this time of the year), nice colors. the orchid is Terri’s leaving present from the temping job she did while in Sarf End……

Gonna lose the i.net here for a day or so, will have to pack everything up…we will have a nice fat truck to do it all in one go (Bob is driving), unlike last time when ozzi plonkers showed up with a luton van instead of the ordered 7.5 tonnes truck, anyways…..
240 is the current score for the b3nch, we should make it to 250…. I snagged two this morning early already and have upped them to the site.
I managed to snag the very first ep. of series two of Lost (which was shown on US TV two days ago)…..the only reason I am actually wathcing this is I wanna see my old m8 Waley (off course he aint in it yet….) who has become nothing short of a Hollywood star, I will try and find his pix and post them after we have moved. The ep. itself….well they manage to get inside the hatch (after being forced to watch numerous flashbacks) and run intio someone…..and that’s all folks….watch another 20 odd eps…to find out what happens next….:-0
i tend to snag the tv eps of the i.net and watch them either on the pc or burn them to disc and watch them on a xvid standalone player, this off course I prefer a million times over scheduled screenings with a million crappy adverts sandwiched inbetween…..
Andrew Wills is leaving for Crete (coz I sed so…)however it is me who deserves to go heh heh…..oh well, I get a house instead………
Here are some shots from Greece from 2002 (Paros), 2003 (Dyskos) and 2004 (Hora Sfakion)…….can’t wait to get back to Greece…….definately wanna go again the next late summer.

The-b3nch stands at 232 now, I will upload all images either this evening late or tomorrow morning early, as I will be without inet for at least 36 hrs……….hopefully I will manage to shoot another 18 till Sat. arround midday….it would be nice…….
I am also glad it is ending sorta, coz I’d like to move on and do some diffwerent things, I sure as hell gonna try and get lots of meetings over the next few weeks in regards work and projects.
Gotta start packing up the few bits we did unpack, and also get everything, that was packed up b4, from the attic down…..oh joy…….:)
Shot 9 yesterday, and two this morning which makes a total of 216. Cloudy day today, also quite windy so I do not expect many to sit down…..
Besides that getting ready to sort things out for the move, change of addie admin etc. Will start packing later on today, stuff I wont be using anyways, luckily most of the stuff is packed up in the attic (oh the joy of getting it all down again, can’t wait heh heh).
Looks like Frioday is a nogo now, since chips can not do it as he is doing the 50 cent video, good on ya m8.
Bob and Jo instead have offered their services…c00li0
Saturday was a quick affair, we had a quick chat with one of the vendors and we then settled for publunch at the White Hart pub on Stoke Newington High St., I even had a 30 mins snooze in the sun…quite nice:)
Was hoping to hook up with Andrew but by the look of it he had much more important things to do…….
On Sunday we met Mick and Leslie again and went for an excellent publunch (more publunches in Sept. than I had the entire year together) in Shoeburyness……..
The-b3nch stands at 207 at this point, 4 days left really, well Friday morning while we move as well, but that will be it.
Peter Gallina has a fresh new website @ http://www.fotomoda.com and it sures as hell beats his previous one he has had for the past few years. He claims it is me who tells him to start a blog, just like I told him to get a website made, and just as I told him to become a photographer….off course I did
………..
Here are some shots from Testament, their legendary gig in Eindhoven Holland 1987, at the 2nd Dynamo Open Air Fest.

Must have eaten something very bad over the past few days, as I have a bug in my stomach and this off course prevents me from going out……
Yesterday stayed in all day and managed to snag a real nice shot, see below. But today Terri and I have to go to London to meet the vendors and discuss technical matters such as the boiler/alarm system etc etc. as a week from now we will be waking up in our new place. w00h00
Then it is straight back to sarf end and try and snag some more b3nch shots, simply as time is running out…….
Shot 14 for the b3nch today, a new record, must admit, I was quite vigilant, then again I still saw that I missed one…….
Really like this shot……

Furthermore, I am doing a launch party for Living TV tomorrow. “Britains Next Top Model” on The Strand. I will be shooting models and create a fashion shoot athmosphere while guest arrive and then after that some will get a make-over and they will be photographed and can have a print afterwards….. So maybe I can snag a few b3nchers b4 I leave arround lunchtime…….
Raining today…..
Have shot only two yesterday, and 6 the day before that, thought I was going to “clean-up” this weekend, shame, but oh well.
Even on a rainiy day such as today a woman sat down, and she looked straight into the lens, first one ever.
I am going to London on Monday, Mustafa had not recieved my disc on Friday morning so no need to go then.
Today we are going for a publunch…..with Leslie and Mick, friends of Terri. Which was a lot of fun, we have even decided to do it again next weekend, while we are still here…..
I shot some fl0wers yesterday in Robbo’s garden…..

Have delayed the trip to London, simply too much to do overhere in regards prep. for a job next week and also paperwork/phonecalls/emails and what not in regards change off address again……
Will meet Mustafa, Jason and hope to shoot some of Brian.
My books will be ready on Monday and will start seeing peeps from then on. t
The-b3nch is at 156, one of the latest ones is a shot of a man and woman, and the woman just pulls out a gun….whether it is fake or real can not really be determined, but it was for a splitt sec. and I managed to snag a shot…….
I will add the shot here:
Meanhwile the website is being updated almost every day.
Strange day today, it is overcast yet very humid…..
Went for a run again and that went ok, considering I can still feel my knee, but there is no pain.
A French Magazine called Beau Arts Magazine has been in touch as they wish to publish one of my shots of Brian Haw
Our solicitor rang and has confirmed the date of Sept. 23rd as the date of completion, looks we are moving again within 3 weeks, can’t bloody wait heh.
and the-b3nch is trodding along ok-ish, I average about 5/6 a day……
Currylunch was fine, then went back to Dave and Elena’s and then went for a long walk arround Shoebury…
Here are two decent shots, one is of Louis, and the otherwas shot at Shoebury Beach.
I am supposed to go to London today but I am delaying this till later in the week….
Our solicitor rang earlier to say she is ready to exchange contracts, so if all goes well then from the 23rd we are in da new house…….both our enthusiasms have shrunk big time…..coz off all the rubbish we got from one estate agent ten days ago and we are propably getting used at living here now as well….I think we have been here for about 10 weeks now…..but I think that bubble will be burst soon enough…back to crack/smack reality :-0
I have given my knee the whole week off, but yesterday I just had enough and walked into town, met da missus for lunch and then carried two big shopping bags back and it seems to be ok.
I watched a flick called El Alamein last night, it was an Italian film from about 3 years ago, not bad, but not a lot happening in it either……also watching two new series (which are not out in the UK yet) called Over There (about a platoon of US soldiers in Iraq, shot somewhere in the U.S. dessert…….the bad guys look the same every episode, I suggest an increase for the prop dept.!!!!!) and Weeds, which off course is about weed and stars Sarah Jessica Parker, and this aint bad, it has some funny moments.
Besides that working on the final set of prints for Mustafe to print out and then it’s showtime…….
We are going to Barry and Lisa today who have lit da briquettes so you know what that means. Russel “love muscle” Chipping shall be there too, will take a few shots of that lot and da kids as well.
Left to right:
Hanna A.-Finsbury Park 1997 / Joanne-Finsbury Park 1998/Shirley-Den Bosch NL 1993
I saw “Children Of Beslan” on Tuesday eve, and it was one of the most gripping docus I have ever seen. No narration, the kids did all the talking. Really good to watch, should win a prize for sure.
I have passed the 100 mark two days ago, I am hovering arround 110 now and by the way this is going, I am quite positive that 200 shots ought to be do-able.
Here is some Kiss, from Donington ‘96. Stefan Schipper and I travelled with Biohazard in their bus up there, went to some party in Leeds for a while and slept in the bus, at arround 6/7 am Stefan walks into the production office and walk out with all areas passes, we then blag photopasses which are only supposed to be for Biohazard, but we shot almost everyone. However I never went to the Kerrang! stage and shot Korn (big regret for sure…) it was sunny, hot and had the best photopit in the world, I have no problem doing three songs with a pit like that. You are almost on top of them, like being at a club gig, normally u have to shoot up at a 45 degree angle….
The other thing is the quality, I shot the entire festival on my Pentax 67, loads more detail.
