We arrived l8, but James’ band This Is War had not even started yet, instead the band Fuckshovel were still on, I caught about 25 mins of their power metal, I thought it was pretty good, not too sure about the name tho (altho it did make me chuckle, wonder how well this is going to do on Top Of The Pops…heh heh).

Fuckshovel-Camden Underworld
This Is War did not have a very good sound at all, it was way too loud in the front and that ruined it mostly, I thought some of their material was pretty good, altho it needs work and they do have some weak links that need taking care off.
Almost at the end the lead singer Roy (I know him from somewhere) took his top off, and he has massive nipples, I mean like tiny elephant trunks, Terri: “they gotta be stuck on…..” :-0

This Is War-Camden Underworld
On my way to Brian Haw I happen to shoot a few kissers in Green and St. James Park

Also this squirrel, right in front of me…….

Then I saw Brian for a few, he was having a sleep, Maria handed me the Independent which had a great article about what the current labour govt. has done in the past ten years when it comes to introducing laws that hamper peoples freedom to protest etc etc….
Read it HERE , a good read.

Well, well well last nights’ game was a complete joke, Holland-Portugal (16 yellow cards and 4 reds, a new record for a world cup game). The Russian ref turned the game into a complete clusterfuck, shame we lost but oh well, the Portugese are playing the English but they are severely impaired with two main players prevented from attending the England match.
Peter Gallina calls out of the blue and asked what that was all about……at least he told me that England were rubbish, something rare coming from an Englisman’s lips that I can assure you, then again he has been living abroad for more than 16 years….he don’t buy the stupid tabloid fodder…..
Been raining, no kissers in the park (which is also starting to bore me, need to hobble to Victoria instead, which I will soon……..), even Brian aint around (talking to his lawyers) oh well…
Been editing more True Love Always shots…………….
I feel battered, getting old, need to start employing chauffeurs and an assistant lugging all me gear…. :-0
Spent from 2 pm till about 7 pm shooting 6 different shots, from sleepy to kinky for True Love Always, here are some:

I was pretty tired but on my way back from Epsom I stepped out @ Victoria to walk down to Parliament Sq. to take a few shots of Brian Haw. Propably one of the better days to hang there, I stayed till about 10:45. Brian was very talkative, he looked at ease. He was opening his mail, all official stuff and a “keep it going” style card from a friend. He recieved a letter from the Westminster Abby which is just siding with that “other lot” as they have filed a complaint against him and the use of his megaphone, which he has not done so for almost a year. I said why don’t you get a decibell reader out there and record their noise pollution and if it is over the limit then report them back…evil grin fom yours truley was concluding that sentence, laughter all around with Maria and Barbara as well, I enjoyed hanging there quite a lot coz there was some good talk/debate.
He has also been asked for a statement from the police, and for the courts, which he is not going to do, as they have all his evidence, his tapes, his correspondece, it was all loaded up when they took his placards away. The letters he gets from them include bits they must have taken from his “stuff”, details they would have never known otherwise….
Silly games indeed…………………..to be continued for sure…..

I have three meetings this afternoon, I may just pass by again and take a few, and maybe some kissers in the park, and then it is off to Michael Cczerwinski’s exhibition in @ the Scarlet Maguire gallery in Crower St. about the Midland Grand. I am going to see ben Bruges there as well, who, almost by a miracle found a babysitter, only to hog out on the hors douvres later on……
It is windy and cloudy and I am off in an hour to shoot duvet covers for True Love Always, will post some results when I get back. also tomorrow I am going to get me some appointments for next week…….
In the meantime I have been busy building a new website, using the slideshow plugin with flash, which works pretty good, it still needs amending but it will give my folio a much better fee/look….in a few days I will post a link.
Still coughing my lungs out…..slept better than the night before, so there is some progress.
Been composing letters to CC companies as they owe me some money……going to sell some mags on ebay as well, way too much stuff around, and also doing a trial run until Daddy’s stuff goes under the hammer.
Shooting tomorrow, for True Love Always, stills and some people with duvet covers in Epsom, should be fun. I am glad I am not shooting today (the tailored shoot has been postponed) as I would not be 100% fit to do it…..
Some old stuff: Lotte-Den Bosch, NL 1993, Ryszard Boulez in Den-Bosch, NL 1989 and Elisabeth in Varenna-It. 1995

Feel bloody worse, woke up at 4am coughing like no other and besides, pills, water and cough mixture oh and a steam there is not much I can do but wait and tough it out…..feel without any energy….
I am ill, I have felt rough all day yesterday, lacklustre and did nada except lying about and help a m8 two streets away from mine w. his pc and watch the Holland-Ivory Coast game (great first half). My throat is swelling up and I hope this is only short lived not in the mood for being sick with this weather……
It has been a hectic last 24 hours………last nite I went to La Scala (years ago I went to the opening night) in Kings Cross, to watch four bands, none of them I had seen or heard ever before. The club night was called Dead Giraffe and should have more punters visiting and not just a bunch of meeia peeps. Maybe the entrance fee of £ 12.50/15.00 on a Wednesday eve is just a tad too high to draw a respectable crowd amount, then again I was told this was the first night……so who knows.
First band Voom Blooms were ok, they had a very small light show I was trying to experiment with or without a flash….

Lethal Bizzle, I don’t know why he was on the bill as all other three bands fell in the indie cat. and the response was lukewarm, wrong time/place perhaps.

The Upper Room were ok, had some nice lights during the show, and had also the most peeps watching them.

Apartment however blew them off the stage completely, some nice catchy tunes and some movement as well, took a quick bandshot at the end and I will try and shoot them in the basement at 333 on the 30th (another club I have not been to in yonks).

I then worked in Mayfair all day and went to Green Park to shoot some more kissers

and then it was off to see Brian Haw, who I shot for about one min. as he was going for a wander…………

More band pix below…….LET ALL THUMBS LOAD TO AVOID CRASHING

Hungover……..just a lil’ bit, need to clear the mess up and start shooting them flowers as I have been lazy about this for almost a week, and the sunlight is gone now.
I came out of a long meeting with Ken Odimah @ Lavish mag. yesterday afternoon ready to go to see and shoot Brian Haw and I get a call from Ben Drakeford on the blower asking me whether I’d like to go and see TOOL in the Hammersmith Odeon (these days it is called Carling Apollo or some other sponsored rubbish name) I don’t need to think about this very long….so from South Wimbledon it is back to N16 to stuff a pizza down and then straight off to Hammersmith where it is a sold out gig.
The band play a shortish set (around 75 min) and the visuals are stunning. It is cool to see a band that doesn’t play the “game” and does it their own way, they don’t yack on all kinds of drivel in between tracks, nor do they dissapear behind the stage in between encores (they sit on Maynard James Keenan’s stage).
I sing along most tracks, having at least 7/8 bootlegs of this current tour on my hard drive already I can sorta “dream” this set, and know what’s next…they are playing again tonight…hmmmm
I wanna catch them on the next tour for sure, as this is supposed to be some warm-up thingy…..
Photographing them would be an honour, but also very tough with their lightshow (as they prolly do not allow flash) it would be quite a challenge……………

I am prepping for the tailored shoot next week, so it is off to South Wimbledon and besides that I will try and snag Brian in on the way back, maybe a few kissers, weather permitting coz it has started to rain (thanks coz it was getting a tad too hot for me liking….).
Besides that I have two more shoots lined up, one is a punkband and a duvet cover shoot……..ul see… :-0
Well central London yesterday afternoon was practically deserted…..watching a very mediocre English team….and I could not be arsed to go to Hyde Park as Ma & Pa Potasnick showed up and I made my way back home.
The weather is absolutely blazing and beautifull, I have to clear a lot of stuff out and move it about (great in this weather), I am gonna try and make a few flower shots…….
I shot more of Brian, albeit very quick as he was pretty much on his own….and was in no mood to talk……quite subdued, since they have taken his wall of shame down….
I am not going to Download, the ppl that did promise me stuff to get in there have not delivered, they simply have stopped returning calls/emails as well…..I need to act more like a wanker and pretend stuff…things would be sorted in a heartbeat then….
I am working all day tomorrow and Saturday as well, in between with this blazing sunlight I ought to shoot a few flowers……
I have not taken any flower shots, simply lack the will….
I did shoot Brian Haw on Tuesday eve the 6th (6-6-06 armageddon yahda yahda for sure….) he was having a little catnap, I hung for about an hour and a half.

Besides that it has been labourtime with Director Andrew “This time I AM the productionmanager, so plz…no insubordination” Wills and Jeremy “This company doesn’t like moaners” Huffelman who seems to be enjoying Mom’s cooking just a lil’ too much…..
We speak about how he will not know us when fame strikes, that’s my boy:-0
I still do not have a clue whether I am going to Download or not…….I wouldn’t mind shooting Devil Driver and a few others…..we shall see….
It has been an eventfull few days….
First off all I am itro-ing my current project just for the hell of it…. it has the working title “the k1ss”, we shall see how this developes. Shot numero uno, in St. James Park.

I have been looking for a project to do for a few months now and it was this or another idea that would require “stake-out” style tactics, this is more of a project I can keep up with as long as I have a camera w. me (a good motivator).
I saw Brian Haw celebrating his 5th anniversary on Parliament Square Friday the 2nd, I thought it was quite a moving affair, people off all classes and skin colors showed up and paid their respect by being there and/or bringing food and drink.

He has not been very talkative, he is “wandering” with his thoughts, and everyone pretty much leaves him be……..off course not everyone and this means a rant/arguement is on its way. Brian’s wings are clipped a bit (that is the mood) but I see this just as a passover till the next “battle” begins. There are plenty of ways to continue…..
Brian Haw did a great speech later on and I finally managed to find out who is Emma (she is the one behind the website and used my photo for the postcard) .
I went there yesterday again as well, it was soo sunny I would have been stupid not to go.

More shots HERE
I am tired and not really in a mood to write a lot…
Yesterday I had my birthday and after grafting for the day I came home to a house filled with balloons and a chocolate bottle of champus, and then also the real thing….nice.
Terri and I went to a Mexican restaurant called Mercado, on Stoke Newington Church Street and is housed in the old Yum Yums which has moved on to a massive premises around the corner. Well the food and the service at Mercado were terrible, we ordered 5 dishes and not one of them left somewhat a positive impression. It started wrong when we had ordered Margeritas as a livener, and we got Mojitos served instead… The plates on which the food was deliverded were all but one chipped, which is a bit of a joke really for a new restauran. The food itself was tasteless and a complete waste of money. Avoid at all costs till they sort their cooking and presenting out.
Oh yeah a tip for the owner, that if you just paint over the previous restaurant’s colors you off course make sure it is covered, coz even that was botched up……..
