I spent 4 hours in the bunker in Mustafa’s garden in Kent to hear a torrent of abuse, as that is how Mustafa treats his customers, while he was printing my stuff out, of course he screwed up a couple of times and I had to make him print my b&w stuff out on metallic paper, all he did was moan and complain that he had not set the color settings right (something that took him 10 mins) blah blah….
From there I went to parliament square and have a chat with Brian Haw and Maria. It has been a while since I have been there and Brian is not alone anymore, it has now become a group, they call themselves Peace Strike, I took some shots of their “camp”, as they sleep in tents now.
I mean they took his display last year etc., but now they have set up 8 tents…..the games continue
I like some of the shots, especially they are among a “new” setting so perhaps it was good I did not shoot anything for a while.
From there I went to the National portrait gallery getting the tickets for the Don McCullin talk tonight, but they could not hand me any hard tickets until today, but reassured me I was on the list…..
Then I picked up my stuff from the AOP, which was displayed during March at their gallery. From there I walked to Starbucks to have a chat with Alicia Aimee to discuss our forthcoming shoot for North Mag., it will be good actually, eerie but hella strong.
I got home and after an hour buggered of again to see Big Wednesday at Turnmills, which had maybe 50 odd peeps, but this was a typical show where bands have their own following as viewers/listeners.
The place also could do with a few more lights, the gig itself was ok, I thought Waterrats sounded better then again there was a proper crowd/lighting at that gig.
Some shots………………….
