I am going to Paris on Thursday and will go to Strasbourg on Saturday to return just after the weekend.
Here’s Alan Aldridge from last week.

It was fun, a short trip of a few days. I saw a few interesting bits and Saturday was just bliss because the weather just became simply awesome. Funny thing is the amount of Italians there on a visit then again not a suprise really as the whole city felt like Milano, also very classico in their way of dressing and many shops selling the same Italian style puffed jackets.
Come 1 PM the sun came out and there was not one cloud in the sky left. It was just breathtaking and so were the snoggers who came out in full force, it made shooting them special…..I have some very pleasing results. Besides hogging it on the German food (love it…) and the beers (love it even more…) it was a great little trip.
Our flight got canceled Saturday evening and we were forced to stay in a hotel near the airport (lovely those take-offs…..now I know what peeps are talking about when they protest against expansion….). The food and the room was good though. And today we came back to rainy and grim Inglan.
I shot a few pix, the clouds are from the take off on Thursday, I love them. The shadow of our plane is nearing the Munich aiport and then there’s the snoggers, even a couple I snagged inside the airport while standing in the que to check in.

Well, in short it was the best talk there sofar, it could have gone on for another hour at least, and I doubt anyone would have minded, so many annecdotes so many great stories and such beautiful material. I shot him for about one minute and after shooting 15 frames I thought I’d have enough and he responded “Are you done already?….” Yeah I was coz I got what I wanted rather quick.
I am leaving for Munich on Thursday morning (Stanstead ugh…..) and I will be back a few days later. I hope to make some nice shots while being there. Next week also going to France

My brother did not come, it has all been delayed ’till the first week of Nov. meanwhile I am going to Munich for a few days later this week.Never been there so looking forward checking it out. I am also scheduled shooting Alan Aldridge at the design museum. Would be an honour and a privilege.

Very good show, seems the band has found a few fans on the way and the sound was one of the better ones I heard them play so all in all I am glad I went coz I did not feel like going at all……in a way there’s some good pix but I acted lazy……

My brother Eric is coming over in his big car so he is going to drop off my dad’s desk (all oak) and hopefully his bike too, which means more cycling and less busses, can’t wait. I have developed a serious hatred for the busses here especially in a bus rich area. N16 is littered with routes my wish will be granted hopefully by cycling around London soon…..

I watched Rome over the past two weeks, both series. I thought it was ok, the sets looked like the production crew had just walked away from it. Too neat and not as much worn as it should be….The acting itself was pretty good and some of the fight scenes were ok to watch all in all a good series, but not THAT good. Which brings me to the 2nd series of Life which is hella dissapointing, they just run out of fuel and should’ve ended it with the first series. Same with Heroes. Not repeat the stupid form untill Kingdome Come. Dexter thrid series sofar mwah. the only good thing I saw was Generation Kill, seven eps, wish it were a few more but at least there’s proper closure. I thought it was excellent. If you are into The Wire then this is for you.
I will post a few of the All That Sparkles shoot later this week.

Hungover again, yeah what is all this drinking stuff …….with my new pal Julian F. destroying Wood Green for the third time in just one week. Tiz gotta stop…..
I am still working on the Sparkle pix, here are some outtakes btw.

Been toying all weekend with pix, the shoot I did last week just lay there all week which was kinda nice, did not have to think about it and then all of the sudden I got up at 6am on Saturday and just had a good crack at it, the majority was played with over the next 15 hours. I did some this morning as well and then it was off to da hood (= Essex) to see Terri’s ma & pa, nice to chill and not bother about pix…
The weather was terrible today it poured big time. I need a beach man!!!!!!!!! Summer was rubbish this year, as bad as last year.
I will work on the pix again tomorrow morning and prolly will post a few. Not a lot of action this week maybe a Die! Die Die! gig, the little shits are back from their Euro tour and will play a few shows in and arround London in the next few weeks after which they will bugger off to the States and then NZ, their homebase.

I finally met up with Malene Nielsen, we hooked up on Saturday eve. she and her friend Sihne and Terri and I first went for a curry, which was dreadfull btw, and then went to the Vibe (=Vile) Bar to have a few more drinks, in the end pretty tipsy but a lot of laughs. A copper approaches me as I am shouting the girls name out when their cab is here, he is 2 feet shorter than I am and tells me I will get nicked if I don’t stop….I thought it was hilarious but kept my mouyth shut, but I was very close to laughing at him and telling him to f*ck off.
It was too absurd for words, the place (Brick Lane) has turned into a war zone and I could find a few more pressing things to do for this schmuck than just approach me with this crap, anyways….

Last night I went to the pub with a mate in Wood Green and get pissed, jump on the bus and fall asleep, as you do….
Only to be waken up by the busdriver who hits the brakes so hard that I fly out of the chair and literally ram into the poles in the middle of the bus, I cry out in pain and am wide awake of course but the whole things has resulted into two massive bumps on top of my head, forehead grazed. Top rib bruised and top of my nose bleeding. I jump out of the bus and get another one which brings me close to home and once I get out I see a patrol car filled with coppers approaching and asking me if I am alright. I assure them I am and walk a few meters to catch the 106 (now there’s a busroute that ought to be sorted out BIG time). It’s a shame I was this hammered because I would have taken the driver’s details down and file charges. It was totally uncalled for, karma will be a bitch……………
Later on I went to casualty and get checked out out as I did not feel well, but besides a small concussion I am ok.
